On Wednesday night Gwyneth Paltrow
let the world see far more of her than they bargained for as she strode
down the red carpet in a see-through dress.
But the following day the star had tuned coy.
Paltrow, 40, emerged make-up free from a Santa Monica, California, studio on Thursday - and was apparently not as keen to show off.
Despite just being named the
World's Most Beautiful Person in People Magazine, the mother of two
obviously was not feeling ready for her close-up.
The star hide herself away covering up her face keeping her head forward so her blonde hair fell across her face concealing it.
Gwyneth gave herself a break from glamour, donning drawstring denim pants, a grey sweatshirt and black ballet flats.
The covered up look was a far cry from her show stopping Antonio Berardi gown, in which she risked a serious wardrobe malfunction.
The dress took the optical illusion style to a new level, not just tricking the eye, but giving it a whole lot more to look at.
Combining colour blocking and Japanese inspired kimono sleeves, the dress' mesh panels showed off all of the star's leg, the side of her bottom and decolletage.
With the mesh panels leaving nothing to the imagination, Gwyneth forwent underwear for the Hollywood premiere.
Unusually the star walked the red carpet solo and her husband Chris Martin was nowhere to be seen.
The star has once again reprised her role as Pepper Potts, the love interest of Iron Man Tony Stark who is again played by Robert Downey Jr.
The film does not official come out to May 3 but already is tracking to have the biggest opening of all of the three movies with the film on theatre screens in 80 per cent of the world.
