And with Cara by his side, the Dallas star watched his favourite Lakers player dominate in the no. 24 jersey.
Kobe Bryant secured the home team's victory by scoring 23 of his 30 points in the final quarter.
But Jesse isn't a die hard fan of the LA team, and a quick tweet from the actor made sure no one would think that: 'But don't get it twisted. #knicksfanforlife'.
Earlier in the day, Jesse proved that he can make just about anything look good as he wore a one-piece driving suit.
The Dallas star sported a Toyota logo emblazoned across his chest in honour of the 37th Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, which took place in Long Beach, California.
Jesse,
Jackson Rathbone, Jenna Elfman and Wanda Sykes joined forces with
Toyota to honour Racing for Kids, a national non-profit program
benefiting children’s hospitals throughout the United States.
Toyota donates $5,000 to Racing for Kids on behalf of each participant and another $5,000 to the winning racer’s charity of choice.
According to Toyota, the race has resulted in a donation of over $2 million to the organization since 1991.
