The father of a tragic five-year-old rape victim in India has spoken out about his fears that the brutal attack will leave her an outcast for the rest of her life.
The labourer, 32, said he worried that his young daughter will be shunned because of the stigma surrounding sexual assault in the country.

The girl's father moved to Delhi from a village in India's poorest state, Bihar, 18 months ago.
He was trying to save enough money from his £2 daily wage to return to Bihar to rebuild his home, which collapsed.

He told The Sunday Times: 'We can't go back to our village ever again. My daughter will never get the respect or the care that she needs.
'This will follow her all her life. I'm now really worried about how society will judge my child and how to get her educated.'
The little girl disappeared while playing outside her family's flat in the city's Gandhi Nagar district.
Her mother went to the police. However, the family insists that police officers did not even leave the station to help - a claim that it denies.
The girl was found three days later in a basement after neighbours were alerted by her screams.
Two men have been accused of raping her and trying to slash her throat.
Witnesses claim she was covered in blood and clutching her dress in a traumatised and dehydrated state.
Public outrage was fuelled by reports that an officer tried to buy the family's silence.
The construction worker said: 'People like this should be killed in the middle of the street as an example to others.'
On Friday, a six-year-old girl was found critically injured in a public toilet in Delhi's Badarpur area. Police suspect she may have been dumped there after being raped.
The victim has been identified as a resident of the slum clusters near Badarpur. Police have questioned around 22 suspects and detained the public toilet's contractor.
