It's been three years since David Tennant left the Doctor Who franchise.
However, over the weekend, the Scot actors teamed up with his succesor Matt Smith at a read-through for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special.
In a photo taken from the top secret rehearsal, David and Matt are seen cosying up to new Doctor's Assistant Jenna-Louise Coleman and a new addition to the cast, Joanna Page.
The 10th and 11th Time Lords were pictured together after it was confirmed last week that both David and his assistant Billie Piper would be returning for the 50th anniversary.
The BBC are expected to begin filming the 90-minute episode this week, which will be shot in 3D and screened in cinemas in November.
The inclusion of Gavin & Stacey star Joanna in the photo seems to suggest she is a new addition to the cast.
Last weekend, it was announced that John Hurt will also be playing a role in the special episode.
Doctor Who producer and lead writer Steven Moffat is also going to great lengths to protect the content of the special programme.
He said: 'One length I've gone to which is a really good security measure - I make sure I don't get a script, because I will lose it. I forbid people to hand me one. It's on my computer under lock and key.'
Meanwhile, current Doctor Matt explained: 'It's about looking back and forward at the same time, a bit like the Doctor does
'It's about celebrating everyone that's been involved with it, all the wonderful actors that have taken part before me, and it's also about looking forward.'
