No stranger to powerful acting from big name guest stars, ‘The Good Wife’ will top itself when New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg stops by for the season 4 finale.
And though he’s certainly not going to be the critically praised show’s most gifted actor ever, he may be their most powerful to date.
DNAinfo.com has reported that billionaire Bloomberg will appear on the CBS hit as it says goodbye to its fourth season April 28.

It’s not totally clear what the New York mayor will be doing in the Windy City, but it seems likely he’ll be playing himself.

DANinfo speculates that Bllomberg’s character might be in town to recruit the politicking husband to The Good Wife, played by Chris Noth.
Helmed by award winning actress Juliana Margulies, the show has already seen its fair share of talented guests.

Michael J. Fox returned to television in 2010 on The Good Wife and has since reprised his role many times.
The series, which has a regular in Tony Award winner Christine Baranski, has also hosted legendary stage actor Nathan Lane.
And, more recently, Stockard Channing—a Tony and Emmy winner—took the role of the title character’s wine-swilling mother Veronica.
Bloomberg appears Sunday, on the episode titled ‘What’s in the Box?’ at 9pm.
