But on Tuesday afternoon, Jesse Metcalfe proved that he can make just about anything look good as he wore a one-piece driving suit.
The Dallas star sported a Toyota logo emblazoned across his chest in honour of the 37th Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, which took place in Long Beach, California.

Excited for the race, the 34-year-old former Desperate Housewives cast member flashed a scruffy smile under a baseball hat that matched his red-and-white suit.
Professional drivers, athletes, actors and car buffs all had their chance to go above the speed limit as they jumped into race cars.
Dancing with the Stars dancer and beloved cast member Maksim Chmerovskiy acted as the grand marshal for the event.

His duties as such saved him from having to wear the jumper, but he missed out on the fun that the other stars were having in their professional costumes for the day.
Twilight actor Jackson Rathbone got chummy with one of Mexico’s most acclaimed actresses, Kate del Castillo, and stars such as Jenna Elfman and Wanda Sykes gave a thumbs up.
The celebrities joined forces with Toyota to honour Racing for Kids, a national non-profit program benefiting children’s hospitals throughout the United States.

Toyota donates $5,000 to Racing for Kids on behalf of each participant and another $5,000 to the winning racer’s charity of choice.
According to Toyota, the race has resulted in a donation of over $2 million to the organization since 1991.
