Katt Williams sentenced, celebrity court cases saw comedian Katt Williams sentenced for his reckless driving charge in Sacramento. The actor, who has starred on TV shows and in movies, pleaded no contest to his charge of police evasion in Sacramento Superior Court, earlier on Thursday.
A report from CBS Sacramento on April 25 indicated that Micah "Katt" Williams was sentenced to three years of unsupervised probation along with 400 hours of community service. The sentence was given with regards to Williams evading police last November while on a three-wheeled motorcycle in the downtown streets of Sacramento. California Highway Patrol eventually called off their chase of Williams due to public safety reasons.
To make matters worse, Williams missed a court date which was related to the incident. That led to Williams being arrested in Los Angeles. Not only that, he was also arrested not long after that for assaulting an employee at a Target store. Williams can be seen here in a video report after he leaves the courtroom and talks over his sentencing with a reporter.
Katt Williams, currently age 39, has appeared in films including the new release "Scary Movie V," and television shows. He had a part in Nick Cannon's MTV comedy show "Wild 'n Out," and also played Bobby Shaw on "My Wife and Kids" which aired on ABC.
