The jolly father-of-two topped off the look by sticking on a fake moustache as he served as co-host for the day on the popular New York based ABC show.
With Ron's trademark suit, a similar striped tie and his ten-gallon hat, he could have easily as his Texan cousin in the picture, which is released in December.
He used his stint as a platform to promote his new album: 'We decided not to respect boundaries.
'We thought, anything that sort of helps tell the story and I guess be entertaining, we felt like it was time to incorporate it, whatever it may be. We really had fun.'
