In other contradicting shots, Lovato wears all black and has let her hair down, wailing into the microphone with the soulful earnestness she has become known for in both her television personality and her music.

She will also be returning to her role as a judge and mentor on The X Factor, most likely in a more prominent role since Britney Spears and L.A. Reid, her fellow judges from last season, won't be joining her.
