It was a setting in one of his world famous video games and now
Tony Hawks has returned to Hawaii with his girlfriend and kids in tow.
The skating legend hung out on one of the island's beautiful beaches, relaxing on the sand with his family around him.
But while the others displayed their bronzed suntans, Tony, 44, paled in comparison.
And
sticking to his skater fashion roots, Tony wore surf sorts by
Quiksilver, one of the world's largest manufacturers of
boardsport-related apparel and equipment.
An unsurprising style choice for The Birdman who has not only designed his own signature line for the brand, but also is counted as one of their global ambassadors.
The mutt-ley crew! A coupe of dogs completed the group, and they seemed to be providing some entertainment for Tony and his girlfriend Cathy
Tony arrived in Hawaii a week ago, but apparently he wouldn't be taking part in much action on the water.
'Off to Hawaii. This isn't Hawaii though... and I probably won't be surfing much. But the fantasy endures.' He tweeted to his over three million followers.
And with him, Tony brought his entire brood.
In 1990, Hawk married Cindy Dunbar and had a son, Riley Hawk before divorcing in 1993.
Three years later, the skater married Erin Lee and the couple had two sons: Spencer in 1999 followed by Keegan in 2001.
Lee and Hawk divorced in 2004, and two years later he tied the knot with Lhotse Merriam on the island of Tavarua, Fiji.
Lhotse gave birth to his only daughter Kadence Clover in 2008 but the couple split after three years.
That's when he met Cathy Goodman, who was the ex of one of his best friends.
His friend, Matt Goodman said at the time that he bears no grudge against the skating legend for dating his estranged wife and was ‘totally cool’ with their relationship.
But for those expecting another Hawk to join the family then they would be mistaken, judging by the jovial picture Tony tweeted as his family flew out to Hawaii.
