Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has apologised to supporters of the club after a dismal Premier League season was capped with a goalless draw at Reading which saw both sides relegated back to the Championship on the same day.
The Malaysian entrepreneur has poured millions into the west London club since becoming majority shareholder in August 2011.
Under Fernandes, who is also the founder of Formula One team Caterham, the club signed the likes of Joey Barton, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Loic Remy, Christopher Samba and Bobby Zamora.

And after relegation was confirmed following a drab draw at the Madejski Stadium, Fernandes has stated he will stay behind Harry Redknapp's team.
He posted on his official Twitter feed: 'Sorry to all QPR fans. But the plan goes on. Now more than ever. We owe it to you. Took 3 years to get Caterham right. No quitting'
He added that he will be meeting the manager tomorrow morning to plot an escape route from the country's second tier.
He added: 'Planning starts tomorrow. Meeting harry at 11 to discuss squad. Going to be tough but we will come back stronger'

After the match, Redknapp said: 'I will get to see him this week and we will have some meetings and talk about things going forward, with the team with the players' he said.
'I have said many times they are good people, so I would love to see them get back in the Premier league and build a team that will stay there next time.'
His message to the fans was: 'Keep coming, keep supporting us - we will have fun trying to get out the Championship.'
Looking on: Harry Redknapp is already focusing on getting out of the Championship already
