Close call! Miranda Lambert risks falling out of her underwire dress


If her tearful acceptance speech wasn’t enough to draw in the attention of onlookers at the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, her ensemble certainly was.
Miranda Lambert displayed her ample bust at the event in a fitted black dress which unleashed her curves.
The 29-year-old singer’s black carpet number featured an underwire to boost her chest area and even displayed extra flesh on her upper stomach with a pointed dip.

She kept her beauty look fun by letting her locks hang wavy and loose, wearing smoky eye make-up and pink lipstick to match the hue of her nails.
Miranda, who is also nominated for five awards, also warned host Luke to beware of her husband.
She told People.com: 'I think Luke is nervous and he should be. Not because he won't do great. It's because my husband is a loose cannon and he never goes by prompter and I never know what he's going to say or do.'

Two of her gongs were for the ballad Over You which she co-wrote with Blake. She got Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for the track and also claimed Female Vocalist of the Year.
The Voice coach helped pen the tune about his brother who passed away when he was a teenager.
On winning her first trophy she said, ‘Oh this is awesome you guys. Thank you so much!’

Blake then joined in: ‘Last time this happened you didn’t get a chance to talk and you’re not going to get chance this time either.
‘I’ve learned so much from this human being standing next to me. She blows me away . . . I used to think I was a decent songwriter until I was hanging around with her and this is proof of it. Thank you so much baby, I love you.’
On racking up her second prize she thanked her fellow competitors at the bash.

She said: ‘I didn’t know what to say about Song of the Year because my husband was about to make me bawl and I was trying to keep it together. As a songwriter, having your song and your lyrics recognized by your peers is pretty much as good as it gets.
‘And I’m so thankful for being in this genre of country music, every single time someone’s nominated, I just cheer, because I love everybody to death. So thank you for accepting me as a song writer, not just as a singer, because that means the world to me.’
The blonde admitted that she believed Carrie Underwood would walk away with the title of Female Vocalist of the Year when up against herself and Taylor Swift.

‘I for sure thought Carrie had it this year, and she damn well deserved it,’ Miranda confessed before bursting into tears.
‘Last night, a huge dream of mine came true. I went from being a little girl singing in a hairbrush to watching Shania Twain with Faith Hill, Reba McIntyre, and Kelly Clarkson. And I cried all night because I’ll never not be a fan of those women. Thank you so much for this.’
