Christine Bleakley faces a 70% pay cut if she intends to stay with Dancing On Ice next year.The former Daybreak presenter was earning about £40,000 per show – a huge £400,000 for the 10-week run – as part of her £4million ITV contract.But her three-year golden handcuffs deal – which was drawn up when she was hosting the breakfast show alongside Adrian Chiles – runs out this summer.And ITV bosses will be free to offer her a much-reduced rate – likely to be about £12,000 for each one-hour show.Any refusal could lead to her being frozen out altogether.One source said: “Christine has been paid an awful lot for not very much in recent times. Perhaps, the pendulum will swing back in our favour.”Bleakley, 34, has scaled down her TV work since she and Chiles were dropped from Daybreak in 2011. Last year her only other shows were one-offs Text Santa and That Dog Can Dance.Chiles, 46, has also seen his workload plummet. His interview series That Sunday Night Show has been chopped and now his only job is anchoring the Champions League football programme.But that role is in question as fans would prefer a former player to take the chair.Bleakley and her fiance, England footballer Frank Lampard, also 34, may even decide to quit the UK.

He has yet to be re-signed by Premier League Chelsea and has received offers from clubs here and abroad.It was recently reported that she and Frank have called off their summer wedding.The pair were due to marry in June, but they have been forced to cancel their plans due to the uncertainty over Frank’s football future.But Christine has recently linked up with a new management company, signalling she is keen to further her TV career in Britain.Bleakley and Chiles earned rave reviews for their chemistry on the BBC’s evening programme The One Show.
