Blast from the past! Eighties pop star Debbie Gibson, 42

She was one of the biggest pop stars of the Eighties.

Fast forward more than 20 years, and Debbie Gibson looks almost as good as she did in her prime.

The 42-year-old showed off her incredible legs in a very short, figure-hugging dress that left little to the imagination at the premiere of a new National Geographic documentary called The '80s: The Decade That Made Us,' in New York City on Tuesday night.

The former Eighties pop star flaunted her incredible legs in the frock, which sported unusual paneling that jutted out at the hips and a peek-a-boo cutout at the bust.

The Foolish Beat singer kept the rest of her outfit simple, donning black kitten heels and carrying a simple silk black clutch.

She wore her platinum blonde hair in a chic side chignon and opted for a smokey eye and nude lips, topped off with a peachy blusher to add a healthy glow to her complexion.

Debbie flashed a huge grin while posing at the premiere of the six-hour documentary, which looks at the political, technological and cultural revolutions that took place during the Eighties, and includes interviews with more than forty icons and entertainers such as Jane Fonda and Reverend Jesse Jackson.

Debbie has made a slight comeback via reality shows over the past few years.

In 2003 she was a judge on the short-lived American Idol spin-off, American Juniors.

And last year she starred on Donald Trump's hit NBC reality series, The Apprentice.

On the fourth task, she won $50,000 for her charity, Children International.

Gibson was fired on April 4, 2012 in the seventh task because she had brought in the least amount of money between her teammates in the boardroom, Dayana Mendoza and Teresa Giudice.

Nina, 57, showed she still has that rocker style in her elaborate silver-and-black jacket and pointy black boots.

The disc jockey wore her shoulder-length hair in its signature curly style and added a touch of glamour with red lip gloss.
