“Appearing in public view while exposing one’s skin or undergarments below the waist is contrary to safety, health, peace and good order of the parish and the general welfare."
Having baggy pants illegal will hold some serious consequences for offenders wearing their pants a bit too low for comfort. People will first be charged a hefty $50 fine for a first time offense, then $100 for a second time offense, and finally 16 hours of community service along with a more expensive fine if they are caught a third time or more.
Of course, the question of having underwear in the public view raises the question: Is it even legal to make baggy pants illegal in the first place?
