They say you can't stand in the spotlight without casting a shadow.
And reality supermom Kate Gosselin has amassed enough haters on Twitter that an anti-bullying group called BullyVille has stepped in to unmask their identities and contact their employers.
'The names we are releasing today (regarding Gosselin) are the worst of the worst,' BullyVille founder James McGibney toldRadar Online Monday.
'The vicious. The ones who tell her she’s a child abuser, a (censored), that she should go kill herself. We are also contacting all their employers with their tweets. It’s 100% factual.'
After some expert cyber sleuthing, McGibney released names, addresses, and other incriminating info about the bullies who 'crossed the line' on his website.
'They are absolutely vicious to Kate. One person sent over 72,000 tweets to Kate and they are all absolutely vicious,' said McGibney.
He ominously added: 'Sometimes you have to be a bully to get a bully...It's going to get messy.'
BullyVille retweeted one such creepy post on a Monday afternoon.
One user named @Frkofnatr tweeted: 'I hate her. The only way I'd watch her on a TV show is if it ended with her beheading.'
McGibney's group also pointed out that one of the blonde 38-year-old's haters has a domestic battery conviction, tweeting: 'Beats up women physically and emotionally.'
Arguably Kate's most avid hater is Robert Hoffman, a friend of her ex-husband Jon Gosselin, who penned a tell-all e-book on the mother-of-eight.
The polemic author accused Gosselin of being 'the biggest bully on television' and alleged she paid lawyers to cover up her child abuse.
'Remember her quote to her ex-husband during one of their shows: "Stand with me or stand against me!"'
BullyVille also teased that they'd be releasing even more information about 'the true intentions' of Gosselin's detractors later this week.
Haters
gonna hate: The Kate Plus 8 star had a much more sympathetic stance on
the issue, writing: 'I HATE THE ACTION OF BULLYING...NOT THE PERSON.I
FEEL SAD4THEM'
Meanwhile the avid marathon runner
proved she's still a hit with the ratings on her February appearance on
ABC's Celebrity Wife Swap.
According to CNN, the season two premiere where Gosselin swapped households with Kendra Wilkinson was watched by 7 million giving the episode the best numbers in the show's history.
And while the former Playboy model was left overwhelmed and in tears by the experience, Kate felt relaxed to only have four-year-old Hank Jr. to look after.
'It feels great to relax. This is what I’ve been missing,' Gosselin said on the episode. 'I am very focused on my kids, and maybe I do need to step away a bit and start dating.'
