A top Hollywood nutritionist has revealed how her A-list clients achieve glowing skin and shiny hair by eating the right foods.
Kimberly Snyder, who has advised everyone from Drew Barrymore to Dita Von Teese, details 85 of her tried and tested beautifying recipes in a new book titled The Beauty Detox Foods.
Insider tips include munching on bananas to banish under-eye bags and drinking coconut water to erase the effects of a hangover.
All of her meal plans are gluten and dairy-free, and based on everyday products found in grocery stores. She explains in her lifestyle guide that all of the ingredients used, which are high in minerals and fiber, will 'help cleanse and unclog the waste from the intestines so that your body can start to absorb nutrients optimally.'Her mantra is building 'beauty from the inside-out'. 'Many clients see more glowing skin and improved energy in as little as three days. Weight will come off steadily, but more importantly stay off,' she told MailOnline.Starting with the skin, Ms Snyder suggests her Glowing Green Smoothie; a go-to breakfast drink for stars like Drew Barrymore, Olivia Wilde, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. The vitamin-packed juice consists of blended romaine lettuce, celery, spinach, apple, pear, banana and lemon juice.
