College 14 stabbed, Dylan Andrew Quick, a 20-year old college student went on a stabbing spree injuring nearly 14 people, which took part at the Lone Star Community College’s CyFair campus in Cypress, Texas, which is about 30 miles north-west of Houston . The student was arrested by the local police and initial investigation of the accused has revealed certain astonishing details. According to the investigators, the accused has given a voluntary statement that he had fantasies of stabbing people since he was in elementary school and had been planning for this incident for a long time.
According to Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia, Out of the 14 people injured, 12 people are in hospital and 2 refused treatment. Out of the 12 in the hospital, 2 are in critical condition. The Sheriff also said that there is an on-going investigation going on in the college campus and the buildings are being still being searched.
The initial alarm put out by the college announced that there were two suspects in the CyFair campus. Everyone was asked to take stay away from the area and was asked to seek shelter in a secure area until the incident was resolved.
The Sheriff said that the exact weapon used for the incident is still not known. But according to a witness , the weapon used by the student was an Exacto-knife. Rand key, the student’s vice chancellor announced that the school will continue normal operations on Wednesday. The school had been receiving a large number of calls from concerned family members. The school has asked the students to contact their family and to let them know they are safe.
