She announced her diagnosis via Twitter last week, saying: "Just wanted you all 2 know that I have Bell's Palsy on side of face right now. Scary, unfortunate, but it goes away. A challenge! Love u."
Bell's Palsy is a relatively rare nerve disorder that can cause paralysis of muscles in the face of sufferers.
She had hinted about her health in previous tweets. She tweeted March 12: "I'm having such challenges right now - I'm praying for peace, health , order and serenity. Love everyone's tweets back to me. Luv u allxxxx."
Fans responded to her diagnosis, offering their support and prayers for the actress.
